Welcome to Northern Rivers Buslines

The Northern Rivers region has a rich heritage of agriculture and timber industries. In the past, these businesses, and the settlers who came with them, often used the area’s extensive river system for transport, which provided an invaluable link to the coast.

Today, Northern Rivers Buslines offers the transport solution for commuter, school and charter bus services throughout a large region of northern New South Wales. Based at Lismore, Northern Rivers Buslines’ modern fleet provides a network of town services in Lismore, as well as connections to rural communities such as Casino, Kyogle and Tenterfield in the west and the coastal village of Evans Head through Coraki and Woodburn in the south east.

Lismore is linked to the nearby coastal towns of Ballina and Byron Bay by Ballina Buslines which is also a member of the Buslines Group.
