Berrima Buslines is part of the Buslines Group, providing a network of route bus services, together with regional and inter-regional school transport services throughout New South Wales. As a member of the Buslines Group, it represents one of Australia's largest and oldest bus operators and has become a name synonymous with the highest standards of safety and service.

The original company was founded on 25 March 1926 by John Alan Gilbert and began bus operations under the name of John A Gilbert Pty Limited. In 1943 John A Gilbert acquired Tamworth's bus services and in 1946, Berrima and Orange joined the group. Today, the company, known as the Buslines Group, also includes services in Ballina, Bathurst, Berrima, Dubbo, Forster, Griffith, Lithgow, Northern Rivers, Orange, Tamworth, Ulladulla and Wingham. These subsidiaries and affiliated businesses form a network of quality bus services which is unparalleled anywhere in Australia. This unique public transport operation provides the skills and resources that enables Buslines to achieve clear leadership in the public transport industry, especially in the key areas of customer service, safety and quality.

Berrima Buslines provides extensive bus services throughout Mittagong and the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. It is the largest and most experienced commuter and school bus operator in the region, offering school and town services, as well as day charter operations.

At its hub the operation serves the growing semi-rural resort communities of Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale, Bundanoon and Berrima. The operation also links the Southern Highlands with the coastal city of Nowra to the east and Goulburn to the south.

Berrima Buslines provides an essential service for the region’s 44,000 residents and its many visitors. Its fleet of approximately 45 vehicles travel more than 1.8 million kilometres each year, operating bus routes, which extend more than eighty kilometres through some of Australia’s most picturesque countryside. For the region’s many local attractions Berrima Buslines offers charter services, including trips to historic villages, wilderness areas, spectacular waterfalls and scenic lookouts.
